Why is Zoom Technologies acquiring Portables Unlimited?
They currently distribute handsets across several continents around the world. Zoom wanted to align themselves with a powerful distribution network in order to bring the handset line-up into the U.S. and Portables unlimited was a natural fit.

How will this acquisition affect dealers?
The acquisition will be seamless from the dealers perspective as commissions, sales, and warehouse operations will continue as before.

Will dealers continue to interact with the same employees across Portable’s various departments?
At this time there are no changes planned for employees roles and headcount. Dealers will continue to deal with the same individuals as before.

Will the head office and warehouses remain at the same locations?
The head office and warehouses will continue to operate at the same locations.

Does T-Mobile support this acquisition?
T-Mobile is fully versed in what the combined entity offers and fully supports the acquisition

Does Zoom technologies currently supply handsets to T-Mobile
While Zoom Technologies does not currently offer handsets to T-Mobile, part of the goal of this merger is to allow Zoom handsets into the U.S. market with the eventual goal of offering devices under a major carrier.

When will dealers be able to purchase and sell Zoom handsets?
We anticipate that Zoom phones will be available by the end of Q1 2012.

Will Wireless Champs continue to be the Exclusive Brand ?
Wireless Champs will continue to be the Exclusive brand for the new organization.
